Speech Language Pathologist

Katie Harrell Kelley is a speech-language pathologist certified by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association. She grew up in Bainbridge and returned home after obtaining a bachelor’s degree from Mercer University and a master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Central Florida. She began her career at Speech Therapy Services, P.C. in 2020 and completed her clinical fellowship in 2021, earning her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).

Katie has had the opportunity to evaluate and treat pediatric patients with a variety of diagnoses, including articulation disorders, phonological disorders, language disorders, dysphagia and autism spectrum disorder. She also has experience evaluating and treating adult patients with aphasia, apraxia, dysphagia and dysarthria following stroke, traumatic brain injury and brain tumors. She is also certified in neuromuscular electrical stimulation for the treatment of swallowing disorders, known as Vital Stim therapy as of 2022. She is excited to expand treatment options for her patients.

Katie lives in Bainbridge with her husband, Drew Kelley, and their dogs, Birdie and Chief. She is an active member of Grace Church and enjoys going to the beach, exercising, and spending time with friends and family.
