Addie Armstrong Stephenson is a Speech and Language Pathologist who is certified by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association as of December of 2022. She was born and raised in Thomaston, Georgia. She went on to attend Valdosta State University where she attained her Bachelor’s and Master’s in Communication Science and Disorders. Once completing an Externship at Vereen Rehabilitation Center and an Internship at Okapilco Elementary School, Addie joined us in January of 2023.
Addie has had the opportunity to diagnose and provide treatment to children with language disorders, articulation and phonological disorders, as well as those with Autism Spectrum Disorder. She has also gotten the chance to evaluate and treat adults and geriatrics with aphasia, dysphasia, voice, and dysarthria following traumatic brain injury, tumors, strokes as well as other neurological disorders. Addie thoroughly enjoys working with both children and adults with a range of speech and language disorders.
Addie currently lives in Thomasville, Georgia with her husband, Dylan Stephenson, and their dog Maggie. The two recently got married back in September of 2023, and cannot wait to see what God has planned for their future.
